MAHWAH, N.J. – The Arcadia University men's volleyball team fell to Ramapo in four sets on Saturday afternoon.
Danny Gonzalez tied a season high in kills with 15. He also chipped in with six digs.
Vaughn McConnell dished out 32 assists and
Vincent Colucci led the Knights defense with 14 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Ramapo 25, Arcadia 23:
The Roadrunners jumped out to an 11-5 lead, forcing an Arcadia timeout. Ramapo extended its lead to 15-8, but the Knights took four consecutive points to cut their deficit to 15-12. The Roadrunners built their lead back up to six, but Arcadia battled back to get with a point at 21-20. However, the teams traded points to the end of the set and Ramapo took the first frame and an early lead in the match.
Set 2: Arcadia 25, Ramapo 23:
Ramapo had an early 8-5 lead, but the Knights went on an 11-1 run, taking a 16-9 lead. The Roadrunners battled back to tie the set at 20, and went on to tie the set two more times, but the Knights took the final two points of the set to tie the match at one.
Set 3: Ramapo 25, Arcadia 15:
The Roadrunners took the opening two points of the set and continued to build their lead through the rest of the set to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
Set 4: Ramapo 25, Arcadia 19:
Ramapo used a 4-0 run to take a 12-7 lead in the early stages of the set. With the Roadrunners leading 23-13, Arcadia used a 6-1 run to get within five points, but Ramapo stopped the run to win the match.
