PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The Arcadia University baseball team closed out its spring break trip with a 3-1 win over No. 18 North Central on Thursday afternoon.
The Knights improved their record to 6-6 with the win.
Senior pitcher
Carson Denham tossed eight-plus innings of one run ball for the Knights. He struck out 10 batters en route to his second win of the season.
Hunter Sibley entered the game in the ninth and picked up his second save of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights opened the scoring in the fifth inning as Joseph Kumar laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring Ryan Smolen.
- North Central tied the game at one in the top half of the sixth.
- The Knights took the lead in the eighth inning as Alex Madera ripped a single back up the middle and Hunter Curley came home to score on a North Central throwing error. Madera eventually came home to score as he stole third and came home to score on another throwing error.
