Softball Falls at TCNJ

EWING, N.J. - The Arcadia University softball team fell in both ends of its non-conference doubleheader at The College of New Jersey on Tuesday, dropping game one 4-0 and game two 9-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: TCNJ 4, ARCADIA 0

-TCNJ scored three runs in the second and one in the sixth.

-The Knights got runners to second and third with one out in the sixth but they were unable to break through.

-Juliana Presto allowed four runs on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts in six innings.

GAME TWO: TCNJ 9, ARCADIA 5
-The Lions jumped in front with two runs in the first.

-Arcadia tied the score in the second with RBI's from Devon Fithian and Madi Costigan.

-TCNJ scored three runs in the third.

-The Knights evend the score in the fifth on an RBI double from Presto and a pinch-hit home run from Xanthe Jamanis.

-The Lions took the lead for good with four runs in the bottom half of the fifth.
