WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University softball team fell on both ends of its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader at King's College on Wednesday, dropping game one 2-1 before getting upended in game two 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: KING'S 2, ARCADIA 1
-Megan Sooy got the Knights on the board in the top of the first with a double to right center scoring Nathalia DiIanni.

-King's took the lead in the sixth with two runs.

-Paige Nolan allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

GAME TWO: KING'S 3, ARCADIA 2
-The Monarchs pushed across the first run in the bottom of the third.

-Arcadia tied the score in the fifth when Allison LaRochelle brought home Costigan with a sacrifice fly.

-DiIanni gave the Knights the lead in the fifth when she singled up the middle bringing home Megan Klose.

-King's scored single runs in the fifth and sixth to complete the comeback.

-Amaia Smith allowed two runs across five innings on nine hits. Caity Hinton surrendered one run on two hits in one inning with one walk.
