WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University softball team fell on both ends of its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader at King's College on Wednesday, dropping game one 2-1 before getting upended in game two 3-2.

GAME ONE: KING'S 2, ARCADIA 1

Megan Sooy got the Knights on the board in the top of the first with a double to right center scoring
Nathalia DiIanni.
-King's took the lead in the sixth with two runs.

Paige Nolan allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

-The Monarchs pushed across the first run in the bottom of the third.
-Arcadia tied the score in the fifth when
Allison LaRochelle brought home Costigan with a sacrifice fly.
-DiIanni gave the Knights the lead in the fifth when she singled up the middle bringing home
Megan Klose.
-King's scored single runs in the fifth and sixth to complete the comeback.

Amaia Smith allowed two runs across five innings on nine hits.
Caity Hinton surrendered one run on two hits in one inning with one walk.
