Men's Lacrosse Downed by Stockton

GALLOWAY, N.J. – A strong second quarter from Stockton proved the difference as the Ospreys downed the Arcadia University men's lacrosse team, 17-13, on Saturday afternoon.
 
Stockton outscored the Knights 8-3 in the second quarter to take hold of the contest.
 
Landan Hajek and Billy Burton both found the back of the net three times in the loss. Kyle McLaughlin and Brian Albertsen both led the Knights with four points.
 
Nathaniel Hudgins set a new career high in saves with 23.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Knights held a 3-0 lead after the opening quarter as Johnathan Oberholtzer, Albertsen and Dylan Garber hit the back of the net.
  • Albertsen gave the Knights a 4-0 lead to open the second quarter, but Stockton scored four straight goals to tie the game. The Ospreys outscored the Knights, 4-2, over the remaining six minutes of the second frame to take an 8-6 lead after 30 minutes of play.
  • Hajek opened the scoring in the third frame but both teams scored three goals in the third quarter as the Ospreys continued to lead.
  • Justin Chinici cut the Stockton lead to one to open the final quarter, but that was as close as Arcadia got to the lead as the Ospreys took the fourth quarter, 6-4, to close out their win.
