GLENSIDE - The No. 4-seeded Arcadia University women's lacrosse team fell by an 11-9 final in the Play-In of the 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship to No. 5 seed Lycoming College at Jean Lenox West Field on Monday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia raced out to a 3-0 lead on two goals from
Morganne Dee and one from
Ashlyn Barton.
-After Lycoming closed the first quarter with three straight scores, Dee gave the Knights the lead back with 12:17 until halftime.
-Both teams traded tallies as Arcadia trailed 6-5 heading to halftime.
-
Jordyn Chan tied the score 44 seconds into the second half.
-Each team matched goals with the count knotted 9-9 heading into the final quarter.
-The Warriors scored twice in the final 15 minutes to get the win.

Emily Griffith made 19 saves in goal for Arcadia.
