HAVERFORD, Pa. - Two early goals set the tone as the Arcadia University women's soccer team opened the 2023 season with a 2-1 win at Haverford College in non-conference play on Saturday afternoon. This was the Knights first season-opening victory since 2019, a 3-0 win at Haverford.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Alexis Rabold scored her first career goal in the fifth minute to give Arcadia the early lead with an assist from Abby Stephens.

-Angela Rosenberger doubled the advantage with a helper from Emily Nervegna in the 17th minute.

-The Fords cut into the deficit in the 36th minute.

-Abby Fuchs made eight saves to earn the victory.
