COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team scored two, third period goals in a minute to defeat Worcester State, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon at Hatfield Ice Arena.
 
The Knights improved to 9-5 on the year with the victory.
 
Haylee Kos, Kianna Saillant and Ariel Williamson all found the back of the net for Arcadia in the win.
 
Sophia Szelag got the start in net for the Knights and made 26 saves for her third win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Kos gave the Knights a 1-0 lead just under two minutes into the opening period. Arcadia held the 1-0 lead heading into the first intermission.
• The Lancers tied the game at one with a power play goal in the second period.
• Saillant scored the give Arcadia a 2-1 lead just a minute into the final frame. Williamson then scored a minute later to extend the Knights lead to 3-1.
• Worcester State scored with eight minutes left, but the Knights went on to close out their victory.
