First Quarter Run Lifts Women's Basketball Past King's

GLENSIDE- A 19-7 first quarter set the tone for the Arcadia University women's basketball team, earning its first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) victory of the season with a 73-48 win over King's College inside Alumni Gymnasium on Monday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 12-1 overall and 1-1 in MAC Freedom games.

-King's fell to 3-10 and 1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
-King's held a 4-3 lead through the first six minutes before the Knights used a 16-0 run, finishing the first quarter with a 19-7 lead.

-A Delaney Bell three-pointer gave Arcadia its largest lead of the first half at 32-13 as the Knights held a 37-20 lead at halftime.

-Arcadia was able to pull away in the third quarter and secure the conference victory.
