GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - 27 points from
Hanna Rhoades, 26 from
Delaney Bell, and 14 from
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls led the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 74-61 victory at Gwynedd Mercy to capture the 2024 Battle of Route 309.
This is the Knights second-straight win in the series and moves their record to 4-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Gwynedd Mercy held a 14-10 lead with four minutes left in the first quarter but the Knights finished on a 13-5 run, leading 23-19 after the first quarter.
-The Griffins began the second quarter on a 9-4 stretch to cut the lead to 28-27 with six minutes until halftime.
-Gwynedd Mercy took a 32-31 advantage at the 2:50 mark, but Arcadia held a 36-34 lead going into halftime.
-Trailing 37-36 30 seconds into the third, an 18-7 stretch saw the Knights go up 58-43, with Arcadia maintaining a 58-46 lead heading into the final ten minutes.
-The Knights pulled away late in the fourth with a 9-0 run putting the game away.
