Women's Soccer has Three Named All-MAC Freedom

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Caroline Weirich, Abby Stephens, and Rachael Mahlau-Heinert have been named All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.

Weirich and Stephens earned Second Team recognition while Mahlau-Heinert was Honorable Mention.
 

Weirich secured her fourth appearance on the all-conference teams and second on the Second Team after finishing second on the team with six goals for 12 points. Weirich saved her best performances for conference play, notching two goals in two of the Knights last three games to help secure a postseason spot.

Stephens notched her first appearance on the All-MAC Freedom teams after totaling a career-high four goals. From her midfield position, Stephens helped lead a team that ranked fifth in goals scored and fourth in goals allowed this season.

Mahlau-Heinert gained her second appearance on the All-MAC Freedom teams after being named the the Second Team a season ago. Mahlau-Heinert finished the season with three points, scoring her lone goal against Lebanon Valley to secure an important conference victory.
