Women's Swimming Drops Dual Meet Against Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team fell to Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Messiah University 67-137 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Mikayla Scardino touched the wall first in the 50-yd freestyle (25.27) and in the 100-yd freestyle (56.07).

- Brooke Boyd finished second in the 200-yd freestyle with a time of 2:09.63.

 - Katherine Pastva dropped over eight seconds in the 500-yd freestyle (5:58.31). from her time against Misericordia.

- Emma Kury shed over three seconds off of her 200-yd breaststroke time from last meet with a time of 2:59.44.

- Ava Despeaux recorded a time of 2:22.95 in the 200-yd butterfly for a second-place finish, dropping over four seconds from the Knights' first meet this season.  

- Gigi Brown dropped .43 from the last dual meet in the 50-yd freestyle (25.93).

- The 200-yd freestyle relay squad of Scardino, Boyd, Pastva, and Brown earned the team 11 points with a time of 1:44.20. 
 
UP NEXT
The Knights return to action on Saturday, November 16th as they head to Dickinson College for a 12:00pm dual meet.
