GLENSIDE - After going almost five minutes without a basket to start its home opener, the Arcadia University women's basketball team found another gear as it defeated Kean University by a 76-50 final in non-conference play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Kean jumped out to a 4-0 lead as the Knights missed their first eight shots from the field before a
Hanna Rhoades layup got them on the board.
-Arcadia finished the quarter on a 17-6 run, taking a 17-10 lead into the first break.
-The Cougars trimmed the lead to one with 1:49 until halftime as the Knights held a 32-29 advantage into the locker room.
-Arcadia began the third on a 12-4 run, leading 44-33 with 5:40 left in the third.Â
-Leading 48-39 with just over three minutes left in the third quarter, a 9-0 run to end the period handed the Knights a 57-39 advantage going into the final 10 minutes.
-Arcadia pushed its lead as high as 27 en route to the victory.
