GLENSIDE - Morganne Dee's goal three minutes into overtime off a
Charli Rissmiller assist lifted the Arcadia University field hockey team to a 2-1 victory over Lebanon Valley College in the semifinals of the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament from Jean Lenox West Field on Wednesday evening.
This is the Knights first trip to the championship since the 2022 season, and their first time hosting the game. Arcadia was the No. 1 seed during the 2002 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) championship game which was played at Rosemont College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights wasted no time getting on the board when Rissmiller inserted a penalty corner to Dee, who slid the ball to
Morgan McEntire for a rocket shot into the back of the cage.
-The Flying Dutchmen tied the score in the 56th minute off a rebound.
-Rissmiller took a restart from McEntire up the right side as she and Dee flew up the field on a two-on-zero. Rissmiller froze the goalkeeper and passed across to Dee for the one-timer sending the Knights on to the championship game.

Anna Doblovosky was phenomenal in net, stopping ten shots.

UP NEXT
-Arcadia will host the championship of the MAC Freedom Tournament against No 2 Stevens at Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The winner will secure an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, which would be the Knights' first in program history.
