GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team fell in their last match of the season to DeSales.

The Knights finished 15-15 on their season.

ARCADIA 1, DESALES 3

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 25, DESALES 22

The Knights went back and forth to gain their first four points to open this set. Arcadia was able to score three straight taking the lead at 7-4. DeSales was able to respond with three straight go their own and tie it at seven. The Knights responded with four straight and kept the lead for the remainder of the set. The Bulldogs went on a run at the end of the set, but the Knights were able to get the last two points before DeSales could catch up.

Set 2: ARCADIA 16, DESALES  25

The Knights fell behind early in this set trailing 12-2. Arcadia started a response scoring five straight cutting the lead in half. DeSales kept going on small runs and were able to tie the match at one. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 16, DESALES 25

A tough battle back and forth to begin the third set. The Knights scored three straight to take the lead at 8-7. The Bulldogs were able to respond by going on little runs and taking the lead. Arcadia went on a 4-1 run coming within four points, but DeSales was able to take the third set. 

Set 4: ARCADIA 18, DESALES  25

The Knights fell behind in the beginning of the set, but were able to fight their way back into it. Arcadia went on a run and fell within one point of DeSales. The Bulldogs were able to go on a run and win the match 3-1.
