SELINSGROVE, Pa – The Arcadia University men's indoor track and field team finished 8
th overall at the River Hawk Friday Night Showdown hosted by Susquehanna University.
The Knights broke one program record and set nine new personal records (PR) at Friday's meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Daniel Ponciano recorded a personal best 5K time of 16:55.66.
- The men's 4x200m relay of
Masai Pines-Elliott,
Robert Carter,
Bryan Carroll and
Myles Sams finished first with a time of 1:35.87.

Jaden Abreu recorded a personal record in the 200m race with a time of 25.23, dropping .35 seconds from his previous best time.

Brendan Blyth dropped a second off of his mile time for a new personal and program record (fourth place).
- Carroll also recorded a PR in the 400 (53.52), dropping .46 off of his previous best.

Robert Lewcun (26.14) and
Jim Murray (24.52) both recorded personal records in the 200m. Lewcun shed over four seconds off his previous time and Murray dropped .11.

Tyler Rooney threw 1.4m further in the shot-put event than he did a the Alvernia Plex Shootout for a new PR of 7.44m.
- Sams also finished first in the triple jump with a distance of 14.15m.

Ramses Valera earned himself two personal records in the 200m (24.72) and the 400m (54.95). He dropped .07 in the 200m and 1.71 seconds in the 400m.
