YORK, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team is currently in fourth place after day one of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship Meet with 194 points.
The Knights had two individual podium (top eight) finishes and one relay podium finish. They also recorded four personal best time in Thursday's session.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Mikayla Scardino finished sixth in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 24.95.

Brooke Boyd came in eighth place in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 25.47, which is a personal best time by .55 seconds.
- The 200-yd medley relay team of
Julia Stephens,
Ava Despeaux,
Olivia Hyde, and Scardino finished fourth with a time of 1:51.37.

Rylie Pellegrino swam a personal best time of 5:41.56 in the 500-yd freestyle relay, dropping 6.02 seconds from her time at the Misericordia Invite.

Erin Dunphy earned a lifetime best time in the 200-yd individual medley (2:32.95). She cut five seconds off of her previous best from 2022.

Gigi Brown went a personal record time of 25.88 in the 50-yd freestyle, dropping .21 seconds from her previous best.

The Knights return to action tomorrow for day two of the MAC Championship meet. Session one begins at 9:30am and session two at 5:30pm.
