GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University opened its season with a 13-6 win over Immaculata at Jean Lenox West Field on Friday night.
Alex Adamczyk and
Tristan Johnson both had a career-high four goals. Adamczyk added an assist for a career-high five points.
Billy Burton had a score and three assists for four points.
The Knights outshot Immaculata 30-18, and only lost two faceoffs, as
Brett Sciascia was 11-for-12 and
A.J. Dominguez was 9-for-10.
Joseph Tesler got the start in goal for Arcadia and earned his first career victory, as he made 12 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia scored the first goal of the game through Johnson as he put the Knights up 1-0 less three minutes into the contest.
- After Immaculata scored two of the next three goals to tie the score at two, the Knights scored three goals in a minute to close the opening frame with a 5-2 lead.
- The lone goal of the second period was the first of Reilly Robichaud's career, as he found the back of the net with less than a minute remaining before halftime.
- The Knights scored the first four goals of the third quarter, taking a 10-2 lead. The Mighty Macs got on the board in the third frame with less than a minute remaining as Arcadia led 10-3 after 45 minutes of play.
- Both teams scored three times in the final 15 minutes of action as the Knights closed out their 13-6 victory.
