PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team wrapped up the 2023-24 regular season with a 3-0 shutout win at Chatham University in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) play on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Knights secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming UCHC Tournament, and will host No. 5 Wilkes University at Hatfield Ice Arena on Wednesday, the first-ever home playoff game in program history.
The Knights conclude the regular season with a record of 15-9, including a 13-7 record in UCHC play. Both totals are new program records.Â

Erika Roepke and
Maeve Hourihan all found the back of the net for Arcadia in the victory. Hourihan scored for the second consecutive game, as she had a goal in Friday night's game against the Cougars.
Campbell Torrey had a team-high two points in the win, dishing out two assists.Â
Hannah Bergeron made 36 saves for her 10th win and fifth shutout of the season. 16 of her saves came in the third period.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Roepke gave the Knights a 1-0 lead late in the first period.Â
- Hourihan then extended Arcadia's lead to 2-0 with a score just 52 seconds into the middle frame.
- Kos capped off the scoring with an empty net goal with less than a minute to go in the third period as Arcadia capped off its victory.
