YORK, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team finished fourth overall at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship Meet with 977 points.
The Knights earned two individual medals and one relay medal. They also recorded eight personal best times in Sunday night's session.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Julia Stephens earned the Knights first gold medal in the 100-yd freestyle with a personal best time of 53.33. She dropped .32 seconds from the 2021 MAC Championship for this new best time.
- The 400-yd freestyle relay squad of
Grace Brooks,
Hannah Daniels, Stephens and
Mikayla Scardino earned silver with a time of 3:37.97.
- Scardino also placed third in the 100-yd freestyle with a time of 54.02.

Ava Despeaux earned a spot on the podium with a sixth-place finish in the 200-yd breaststroke (2:31.66).
- Brooks finished eighth in the 200-yd backstroke with a time of 2:19.86.

Rylie Pellegrino earned herself a lifetime best in the 1650-yd freestyle by 23.79 seconds (19:58.14).

Brooke Boyd recorded a personal record time of 55.17 in the 100-yd freestyle dropping 1.57 seconds from last season's MACs.

Gigi Brown cut .30 seconds off of her 100-yd freestyle time for a new personal best time of 56.29 seconds.

Madelyn Meyer recorded a personal record time of 2:23.04 in the 200-yd backstroke. She dropped 1.73 seconds for this new best time.

Juliane Heller dropped .58 seconds in the 200-yd breaststroke for a new best time of 2:37.29.

Erin Dunphy swam the 200-yd breaststroke in 2:45.35, cutting 3.88 seconds off of her previous best time.

Emma Kury also earned a lifetime best in the 200-yd breaststroke by .57 seconds with a time of 2:49.85.
