CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The second-seeded Arcadia University women's basketball team fell in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship game to No. 1 DeSales, 73-45 on Saturday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 22-5.

-DeSales improved to 25-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales began the game on a 7-0 run through the first five minutes.

-Arcadia trailed 12-5 at the end of the first quarter.

-The Bulldogs began the second on an 8-2 stretch.

-The Knights entered halftime facing a 30-13 deficit.

-Arcadia was unable to cut into the DeSales lead in the second half.
