GLENSIDE - Delaney Bell finished with a career-high 32 points to lead the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 63-48 victory over Misericordia University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Bell's 32 points are the second-highest single-game total in program history, narrowly missing the record of 34 set by Maureen Fiocca '16 at Widener on February 14, 2017.Â
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 19-3 overall and 8-3 in MAC Freedom play.
-Misericordia fell to 8-14 and 2-9, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Misericordia began the game on a 5-0 run before a 5-0 run by the Knights tied the score.
-Arcadia trailed 9-7 with 3:44 left in the first before a 7-0 run to end the quarter gave the Knights a 14-9 advantage.
-Both teams traded baskets in the second with Arcadia ahead 23-18 entering halftime.
-With the score tied at 38 early in the fourth, the Knights used a 14-2 run to take a 52-40 lead with under five minutes to play.
-Arcadia outscored its opponent 27-15 in the fourth to secure the victory.

-Tonight was the sixth time Arcadia was called for 11 fouls.
