Everything Clicks for Baseball in Sweep of FDU-Florham

MADISON, N.J. - Everything clicked for the Arcadia University baseball team in its doubleheader sweep of FDU-Florham in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Sunday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

-FDU-Florham fell to 7-12 and 2-4, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 5, FDU-FLORHAM 0
-Arcadia scored three times in the first on a fielder's choice scoring Eli Savitt and a two-run single from Kevin Wheeler bringing in Anthony Bruno and Matthew Sot.

-Solomon Griffith increased the lead to 4-0 in the fifth with a sacrifice fly scoring Gabe Diaz.

-Wheeler finished the scoring in the sixth with a single that brought around Justin Massielo.

-Nadell Booker earned the victory in a complete game shutout, striking out five.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 14, FDU-FLORHAM 1
-Sot crossed the plate in the first to get the Knights on the board first.

-Arcadia pushed across three runs in the fourth on RBI's from Ajjan,Diaz, and Savitt.

-Ajjan, Diaz, Savitt,and Donchez brought in runs in a six-run sixth,

-The Knights tallied four in the ninth to finish the scoring.

-Hunter Curley earned his first win of the season, allowing one run across 8.0 innings on three hits with five strikeouts.
