GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's tennis team beat Rowan College of South Jersey 7-2 in its home opener on Saturday afternoon at the Weiss Tennis Courts.
The Knights won two of three doubles and won five of the singles.
SINGLES RESULTS
- At No 1 singles,
Aaron Allen took down his opponent 6-2, 6-3.
- At No. 2 singles,
Kevin McHale took his match 6-1, 6-1.
- At No. 3 singles,
Lee Conlu dropped his first set 5-7, but came back to win the next two 6-3, 6-4.
- At No. 4 singles, Cassel won 6-2, 7-6(5).
- At No. 5 singles,
Ryan Salmon dropped his match 6-7(6), 4-6
- At No. 6 singles,
Carlos Pinga beat his opponent 6-4, 6-2
DOUBLES RESULTS
- At No. 1 doubles, McHale and Allen dropped their set 5-8.
- At No 2 doubles, Conlu and Nagy beat their opponents 8-5.
- At No. 3 doubles,
Leo Dupont and
David Cassel won 8-5.
