GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team beat Rutgers-Camden 5-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Weiss Tennis Courts.
The Knights won two of three doubles and the three complete singles matches.
SINGLES RESULTS
- At No 1 singles,
Savannah Falk dropped her first set 1-6, but came back to win with second and third sets of 6-2, 6-0.
- At No. 2 singles,
Karolina Iordache won her singles 7-6(7-2), 6-1.
- At No. 3 singles,
Kate Wyszkowski lost the first set 4-6, before coming back with a second set of 6-4 and a third of 6-0 to win her singles match.
- At No. 4 singles,
Link Bertrand played an unfinished match to a score of 2-6.
- At No. 5 singles,
Bella Bauman ended with a score of 6-1 in her unfinished match.
- At No. 6 singles, the score of
Jessie Friel's unfinished match was 3-6.
DOUBLES RESULTS
- At No. 1 doubles, Falk and Iordache beat their opponents 8-4.
- At No 2 doubles, Wyszkowski and Bauman topped Rutgers-Camden's pair 8-1.
- At No. 3 doubles,
Leah Hatcher and
Bridgit Terry fell 6-8.
