GLENSIDE, Pa. – Arcadia University men's lacrosse's
Billy Burton reached the 100-goal milestone for his career in the Knights' 12-9 loss to Eastern on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
The Knights are now 3-4 on the year.
Burton scored three goals to reach 100 for his career.
Landan Hajek had two goals in the game.
Andrew Borum,
Alex Adamczyk,
Alex Herka and
Lukas Santore all added a goal apiece.
Joseph Tesler and
Nathaniel Hudgins split goalie duties for the Knights. Tesler made eight saves and Hudgins made seven.
EASTERN 12, ARCADIA 9
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eastern scored the first two goals of the game, but the Knights scored the last two through Borum and Burton to tie the score at two through 15 minutes of play.
- Hajek gave the Knights the lead less than two minutes into the second quarter, but Eastern scored the next three to take a 5-3 lead. Santore got the Knights within a goal before the end of the quarter.
- Eastern grew their lead to 8-4, but Burton scored the next two goals to get Arcadia within two at 8-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
- Eastern outscored Arcadia 4-3 in the final frame to close out its win.
