Softball Falls Twice at Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Arcadia University softbal team fell twice in non-conference play at Messiah University, dropping game one 6-1 and game two 9-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 1, MESSIAH 6
-Taylor Sommer opened the scoring in the top of the first with a single that scored Madi Costigan.

-Messiah scored four runs in the bottom of the second and two in the fifth to take the lead.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 3, MESSIAH 9
-The Falcons jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

-The Knights scored three times in the top of the fifth on a Madi Costigan single that scored Alexa Kozarski and a single from Nathalia DiIanni, plating Schaefer and Costigan.

-Messiah added two runs a piece in the bottom of the fifth and sixth.
