Softball Falls Twice at Stevens

HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Arcadia University softball team fell in its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader at Stevens on Saturday, dropping game on 5-4 before falling 2-0 in the nightcap.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 4, STEVENS 5
-Madi Costigan got the Knights on the board with a two-run single in the top of the second scoring Allie LaRochelle and Molly Delio.

-Stevens closed the gap to 2-1 in the bottom of the second.

-Taylor Sommer recaptured a two-run advantage for Arcadia in the top of the third with a double scoring Nathalia DiIanni.

-The Ducks took the lead with one run in the third and three in the fifth.

-The Knights pushed across a run in the top of the sixth but they were unable to tie the score.

-Stevens opened the scoring in the first and added a second run in the fifth.

-Arcadia had runners in scoring position in the second and fourth but were unable to push a run across.
