OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The fifth-seeded Arcadia University men's volleyball topped No. 4 Stevenson in five sets in the opening round of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Tournament.
The Knights improved to 17-12 on the season.
Andrew Ahn had a career-high 24 kills in the match.
Danny Gonzalez chipped in with 15 and
Evan Rothmann had nine.
Riley Kodidek dished out 51 assists in the Arcadia win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Stevenson 25, Arcadia 19:
The Mustangs went on a 6-0 run to give them a 12-5 lead. Arcadia battled back to get within two points at 16-14, but that is the closest that it got to the lead as Stevenson took a 1-0 lead in the match.
Set 2: Arcadia 25, Stevenson 22:
Arcadia led 3-1, but Stevenson took a 6-4 lead with a 5-1 run. Arcadia regained the lead at 7-6 with a 3-0 run. The teams then traded points, leading to a 17-all tie. Arcadia took the next two points which gave it the lead for good in the frame as the Knights tied the match at one.
Set 3: Arcadia 25: Stevenson 22:
The teams were tied at 12, but the Mustangs took the next three points to take a slim lead. Arcadia battled back to tie the frame at 18. Stevenson took two of the next three points for a 20-19 lead, but the Knights closed the frame on a 6-2 run to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
Set 4: Stevenson 25, Arcadia 19:
With Arcadia leading by one, Stevenson went on a 7-1 run, giving them a 15-10 lead. The Knights battled, getting within two points at 19-17, but the Mustangs won six of the last eight points of the frame to force a fifth set.
Set 5: Arcadia 15, Stevenson 7:
With the deciding set tied at three, the Knights took seven of the next eight points, giving them a 10-4 advantage. After Stevenson won the next point to end the run, the Arcadia took the next four points to get to match point. The Mustangs fought off two match points, but a
Ryan Miller kill ended the set and the match.
