GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team will look to take the next step under third-year head coach
Emily Poole in 2024. The Knights have advanced to the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament both seasons under Poole's tutelage, and will aim for higher goals after securing the No. 3 seed following an up-and-down regular season in 2023.Â
"We're supper excited for this season," shared Poole. "The team has been working really hard during our preseason and I am excited to see all of their hard work come together on the court."Â
Arcadia is led by senior
Nicole Dallara, who returns after finishing with the most sets played at 100 and was third on the team in kills with 170 last season. Returners for the Knights include juniors
Kelsi Warner,
Hannah Fryer,
Juliana Bockhaus, and
Callie McGuire. Sophomores
Kailyn Riggi,
Chana Rothschild, and
Hannah Sanchez return after each saw significant time as first-years. Junior
Sydney Steiner and first-years
Devon Young,
Bryana Saenz,
Sarah Baker,
Julia Archelle, and
Julianna Lloyd will look to make an impact in their first season with the program.
Arcadia kicks off the 2024 season on Friday when it will host Gwynedd Mercy for a 6:00 p.m. non-conference match. MAC Freedom play begins September 25th at King's, while the MAC Freedom Tournament starts on November 11th.
