Women's Volleyball Wins in Opening Conference Match

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball beat conference opponent King's 3-1 Wednesday evening.

Bryana Saenz tallied 41 assists in the contest.

The Knights are now 6-7 on the season. 

ARCADIA 3, KING'S 1

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 25, KING'S 23

The Knights started off started off hot scoring four of the first points of the match. The Lions were able to respond with their own four points tying the first set. King's was able to go on a run and gain a 14-7 lead. Arcadia was able to go on a 7-1 run to only trail by two. The first set was a fight to the end but Arcadia was able to get the last five points to take set one. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 15, KING'S 25

The Knights trailed by three from the beginning of the set. King's was able to take advantage of its lead and they were able to secure the second set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, KING'S 20

The third set was a continuous back and forth between each teams. The Knights were able to go on a 12-3 run making the score 17-11. Arcadia was able to maintain its lead and secure the third set. 

Set 4: ARCADIA 25, KING'S 17

The Knights were able to gain the lead in the beginning go the set and the did not look back. Arcadia was able to get the last two points to take the final set.
