ASTON, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball went 2-0 in the Neumann University tri-match.

Bryana Saenz tallied 89 assists in both contests.

ARCADIA 3, RUTGERS-CAMDEN 1

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 26, RUTGERS-CAMDEN 28

The first set was a hard fought battle. The Knights fell behind, but were able to rally off seven straight points to make the score 13-6. After Rutger's response the frame was back and forth. The Raptors were able to take the last three points to win the first set. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, RUTGERS-CAMDEN 17

Arcadia dominated the second set. They were able to take the lead at the fourth point and the did not hold back. The Knights were able to go on a 9-2 run, pulling their lead further away. They were able to secure the second set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, RUTGERS-CAMDEN 21

The Knights fell behind in the third set. Their response came in a cluster of points. Arcadia was able to score six straight making the score 18-11. They were able to score the last point of the set and take a 2-1 lead in the match. 

Set 4: ARCADIA 25, RUTGERS-CAMDEN 18

The Knights went on a 5-0 run to start the fourth set. They were able to maintain their lead for the rest of the set, securing the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 22, NEUMANN 25

The first set was highly contested in the beginning of the frame. Neumann was able to go on a run and take the lead. The Knights were able to score seven straight to get within two, but Neumann was able to take the last point. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, NEUMANN 11

Arcadia was able to go on a 9-1 run in the beginning of the second set making the score 12-5. The Knights had too big of a lead for Neumann to make a comeback. Arcadia was able to get five straight to secure the second set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, NEUMANN 18

The Knights started off hot going on a 7-2 run to start the third set. The score got locked at 16 in the middle of the frame. Arcadia was then able to go on a 9-2 run to take the third set. 

Set 4: ARCADIA 25, NEUMANN 22

Another strong start for Arcadia as they went on a 10-3 run to start the fourth set. Although the Knights had the lead the whole set, Neumann fought hard to get back into this set. Arcadia was able to get two straight to put this match away!
