GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team opened its 2025 season with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23)Â win over Kean University inside Alumni Gymnasium in non-conference play on Tuesday evening.

-The Knights improved to 1-0 with the win.
-Kean fell to 0-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SET ONE: KEAN 25, ARCADIA 23
-Kean raced out to a 9-3 lead forcing Arcadia into its first timeout.
-The Knights battled all the way back, closing the deficit to 21-20 but were unable to overtake the Cougars.
SET TWO: ARCADIA 25, KEAN 21
-Arcadia jumped in front 5-1 before Kean took its first timeout of the set.
-The Knights led 11-6 before the Cougars used a 10-4 run, leading 16-15.
-Tied at 18, Arcadia finished the set outscoring its opponent 9-3 to take set two and tie the match.
SET THREE: ARCADIA 25, KEAN 21
-Neither team gained an early advantage with the score tied at 20.
-The Knights took five of the next six points to take the set and the match lead.
SET FOUR: ARCADIA 25, KEANÂ 23
-Neither team secured more that a two-point lead until the end when Arcadia secured the match.
