GLENSIDE - Ahead 28-25 going into halftime, the Arcadia University women's basketball team dominated the second half 40-14 to earn a 68-39 win over Misericordia in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 10-6 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
-Misericordia fell to 3-14 and 1-4, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Neither team gained much of an advantage early as the first quarter ended with the Knights trailing 15-13.
-After Misericordia extended its lead with a free throw, Arcadia used a 10-0 run to take a 23-16 lead.
-The Knights entered halftime ahead 28-25.
-Leading 30-27 two minutes into the third, Arcadia closed out the quarter on a 19-2 stretch, entering the final quarter with a 49-29 advantage.
-The Knights cruised in the fourth to close out the big victory.
