GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's soccer team notched its first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) victory with a 6-1 defeat of DeSales at Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday afternoon.
Today was the first time the Knights scored six times since a 6-0 win at Alvernia on October 15, 2019.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 1-0-1 in conference play and 8-1-3 overall.
-DeSales fell to 1-1-0 and 3-6-2, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Ciara Garrett opened the scoring in the fifth minute with an assist from
Sadie Nugent.

Payton Salt extended the lead in the 10th minute with an assist from Nugent.

Shelby Jones got on the board in the 51st minute with helpers from
Ashley Evans and
Alexa Barnett.

Emily Di Silverio scored off a corner kick from
Abby Stephens in the 56th minute to make the score 4-1.
-Nugent got in the goal column on in the 67th minute.

Payton Lindsay punched in her first career goal in the 85th minute assisted by
Katerina Kiousis.
