COLMAR, Pa. - Arcadia University women's ice hockey opens its season with a 4-2 over SUNY Morrisville.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights and Mustangs both opened the game with strong goal tending and back-and-forth play in the first period.
-Arcadia generated a few early looks including shots from Ava Glab and Maeve Hourihan
-SUNY Morrisville got on the board first off of a power play advantage.
-Kaylee Miller was in goal for the Knights where she had to make several key saves early in the second period.
-Chloe Makinson buried a power play goal at 9:18 in the second period, for her first collegiate goal, assisted by Glab, to tie the game 1-1.
-The Mustangs responded quickly to regain its lead.
-Arcadia struck right back just a minute later with a Phoebe Roberts goal assisted by Rylie Duffy.
-Grace Matthews found the back of the net two minutes into the third period, with an unassisted goal, giving the Knights its first lead of the night at 3-2.
-Hourihan sealed the win for Arcadia with an empty net goal.
