GLENSIDE - A late comeback attempt fell just short as the Arcadia University field hockey team wrapped up its 2025 season with a 2-1 loss to DeSales in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play from Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday.

-Arcadia wrapped up it season with a 2-5 record in conference play and 4-14 overall.
-DeSales moved to 5-2 and 9-9, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales opened the scoring just 62 seconds into the game.
-The Bulldogs doubled their advantage in the fourth minute with a penalty stroke tally.

Mackenzie Clark got the Knights on the board in the 38th minute when
Ashley Avington hit a pass into the middle of the field that Clark one-touched past DeSales goalkeeper.

Anna Doblovosky kept Arcadia within a one-goal deficit when she turned away a penalty stroke with eyes for the top left corner in the 39th minute.
-Doblovosky finished the game with nine saves.
