GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell by a 93-68 final in non-conference play to No. 20 Christopher Newport University inside of Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

-Arcadia fell to 3-2 with the defeat.

-Christopher Newport improved to 4-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Neither team could pull away in the first ten minutes with the score tied at 18 heading into the second quarter.

-With the score tied at 24 three minutes into the second, a 6-0 run for Christopher Newport gave the Knights a 30-24 deficit.

-Arcadia battled back to tie the score at 37 with 3:30 left. but the Captains finished the half with a 10-3 stretch as the Knights faced a 47-40 count heading into the break.

-After a close third, Christopher Newport pulled away in the final quarter.
