GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swimming team returned home to Lenox Pool on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference dual meet against Bryn Mawr College. The Knights (0-6, 0-4 MAC) fell to the Owls by a score of 109-95. Arcadia earned multiple event victories on the day, highlighted by wins from Mikayla Scardino, Audrey Haydu, and Ava Despeaux, along with a strong relay performance to open the meet.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The 200-yard medley relay team of Mikayla Scardino, Juliane Heller, Ava Despeaux, and Audrey Haydu opened the meet with a win in 1:54.71. The Knights' second relay of Lily Stauffer, Jenna Carr, Maggie Dent, and Sam Ehrhart placed third.
• In the 1000-yard freestyle, Kylie Perry placed second with a time of 12:18.59, followed closely by Rylie Pellegrino in third at 12:23.82, while Maddie Farrelly touched in 12:47.11.
• Brooke Boyd finished second in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:07.86, followed by Gabby Schultz at 2:09.16 and Jenna Carr at 2:25.77.
• Scardino won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.58. She was followed by Kiera Krebs in 27.71 and Ehrhart in 28.00.
• In the 200-yard IM, Haydu led the Knights with a second-place finish at 2:25.01. Heller placed third in 2:29.25, while Dent touched in 2:36.99.
• Despeaux won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:20.70, with Dent also competing and finishing at 2:48.65.
• Haydu earned another victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.20, followed by Boyd in 59.47 and Ehrhart in 1:03.12.
• In the 200-yard backstroke, Scardino led Arcadia with a 2:24.56. Farrelly (2:36.51) and Stauffer (2:39.20) rounded out the Knights' top-three swimmers in the event.
• Perry placed second in the 500-yard freestyle at 6:03.59, just ahead of Pellegrino in 6:03.62.
• Despeaux secured another win in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching at 2:36.45. Heller finished second in 2:40.01, and Carr was fourth at 3:08.38.
• The Knights closed the meet with a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay from the team of Boyd, Pellegrino, Schultz, and Perry.

The Knights are off next weekend before returning to competition at the Spartan Splash Invitational hosted by York College (Pa.) from November 21–23.
