GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team defeated non-conference opponent Eastern University 17-7 on Saturday afternoon on Jean Lenox West Field.
Gianna DiNofa had a season high five goals to lead the Knights to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eastern scored the first goal of the game before the Knights went on a 4-0 streak with goals from DiNofa,
Tessa O'Donnell (2), and
Mackenzie Clark.
- The Eagles scored their second goal of the quarter with 8:53 left on the clock.
- Arcadia then scored six unanswered goals by DiNofa (2),
Meghan Graham (2),
Olivia Poley, and O'Donnell, to end the quarter 10-2 Arcadia.

Jordyn Chan and DiNofa (2) scored three goals in the second quarter while the defense only let up one Eastern goal.
- The Knights went into the half up 13-3.

Jaylee Killgore scored her first goal of the game to kick off the third quarter, which was immediately followed by another goal from O'Donnell.
- The Eagles notched their fourth goal of the game with 28 seconds left in the third.
- Eastern outscored the Knights 3-2 in the final 15 minutes of the game. The Arcadia goals were scored by
Thea O'Connor and Chan.

Emily Griffith recorded her second win of the season with seven saves on the day.
