WAYNE, N.J. - A seven-run fourth inning was the difference as the Arcadia University baseball team fell by a 7-5 final in non-conference play at William Paterson on Wednesday afternoon.

-Arcadia fell to 1-2 with the loss.
-William Paterson improved to 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights threatened in the top of the first getting
Cam Seymour to second with one out but were unable to open the scoring.
-William Paterson exploded in the fourth for seven runs on four hits.
-Arcadia got on the board in the top of the fifth when Seymour singled to bring home
Gabe Diaz, followed one batter later by an infield single from
Thomas Strauch plating
Jake Hendershot.
-The Knights got to within two runs in the top of the seventh on run-scoring plate appearances from Seymour, Strauch, and
Kevin Wheeler.
-Arcadia threatened in the ninth but was unable to push the tying runs across.
-
Braden Kelly fell to 0-1, allowing two runs on two hits with three walks and two strikeouts over three innings.
