LEXINGTON, S.C. - After giving up the lead on a grand slam in the top of the fifth, a five-run bottom of the frame put the Arcadia University baseball team ahead for good as it began the day with a 12-9 win over Swarthmore before falling 10-6 against No. 23 Case Western Reserve on day two of its spring break trip on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 12, SWARTHMORE 9
-Arcadia opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first with an RBI single from
Kevin Wheeler.
-After Swarthmore tied the score in the top of the second,
Max Oswald gave the Knights the lead back with a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning scoring
Taro Pustilnik.
-Later in the inning,
Anthony Bruno drove home Wheeler with a double and came around to score on a Joseph Agriesti single.
-The Garnet closed the gap to 6-4 in the third.
-
Peter Trendafilov added on with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth scoring Bruno.
-Swarthmore took an 8-7 lead in the top of the fifth with a grand slam.
-The Knights immediately responded in the bottom of the inning with RBI's from Stennett, Wheeler, Bruno, and Trendafilov.

-Bruno opened up the scoring in the top of the first with a double plating Oswald.
-CWRU crossed the plate four times in the first and second to take the lead.

Ryan Radigan scored on a wild pitch in the fourth to cut the deficit to 4-2.
-After the Spartans scored in their half of the fourth, Pustilnik and Seymour drove in runs to make the score 5-4 in the top of the sixth.
-After CWRUÂ scored three times int eh bottom of the sixth, Pustilnik and Seymour brought home one run each as the Knights faced an 8-6 deficit, but were unable to get any closer.
