AMBLER - The Aradia University baseball team excelled in all areas of the game on Saturday as it swept its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader against FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon, 6-3 in game one and 17-2 in game two at Skip Wilson Field.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
-FDU-Florham fell to 7-12 and 2-4, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 6, FDU-FLORHAM 3

Joshua Agriesti got the scoring started in the bottom of the third with a bases-loaded walk that scored
Kevin Wheeler.

Max Oswald increased the lead to 3-0 when he launched a two-run homer to right in the bottom of the fifth that scored
Anthony Bruno.
-Agriesti followed one batter later with a solo home run to right.
-The Knights added two more runs with the help of an FDU-Florham error with
Taro Pustilnik driving home
Griffin Murphy with an RBI single.
-The Devils added three runs in the seventh but Arcadia was able to hold on for the victory.

Mitchell Bramsway earned the win with three innings of relief, allowing three runs on two hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

-Wheeler opened the game two scoring with a double to right-center that scored
Gabe Diaz.
-Radigan followed with a single to center that brought around Wheeler.
-The Knights blew the game open in the second with 10 runs on just four hits.
-Agriesti launched a three-run homer to dead-center in the third bringing home Oswald and Radigan.

Cam Seymour and Pustilnik finished the scoring for Arcadia with RBI's in the fourth.

Xavier Sjostedt earned his first win of the season, taking a no-hitter into the sixth as he allowed one run on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
