WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Three runs in the eighth and two in the ninth lifted the Arcadia University baseball team to a 9-8 win at King's College in Middle Atantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Friday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 5-2 in MAC Freedom play and 14-7 overall with the win.
-King's fell to 1-6 and 6-14, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Joshua Agriest got the Knights on the board in the top of the first with a sacrifice fly that scored
Gabe Diaz.
-King's responded with three runs in its half of the first.
-A Monarchs error in the top of the second allowed two runs to score and tied the game.
-King's regained the lead in the bottom of the fourth, but
Kevin Wheeler leveled the score in the top of the sixth with an RBI single scoring
Ryan Radigan.
-The Monarchs scored twice in the sixth and twice in the seventh to grab an 8-4 advantage.
-
Cam Seymour began the comeback in the top of the eighth with a two-run homer that brought in
Jake Hendershot.
-Later in the inning Diaz came on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 8-7.
-Hendershot tied the score in the ninth when he brought home Agriesti.
-Radigan brought in Hendershot with the winning run on a sacrifice fly later in the inning.
-
Mitchell Bramsway improved to 3-1 with two shutout innings of relief with two strikeouts.
