NEWTOWN, Pa. - Arcadia University men's basketball first-year Jamison Lynam has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Rookie of the Year while he and Joshua Okocha earned Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Lynam is the fifth Rookie of the Year in program history.

Lynam was named Rookie of the Year and Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom after he averaged 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists while shooting 44 percent (127-291) from the floor and 40 percent (49-122) from three this season. Lynam hit his season-high on February 15th with 28 points against Delaware Valley.

Okocha earned his first All-Conference nod after averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 45 percent (114-253) from the field. Okocha matched his career-high of 21 points on January 22nd at Misericordia
