RALEIGH, N.C. - The Arcadia University softball team finished its spring break trip to North Carolina with a 9-1 loss to Denison and a 14-0 defeat to No. 6 Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.

-Denison jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

Taylor Sommer got the Knights on the board with a solo home run in the top of the fourth.
-Denison exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the fifth.
