Baseball Drops Series Opener to DeSales

GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University baseball team fell by a 10-2 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play against DeSales at Skip Wilson Field on Thursday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 21-11 overall and 11-5 in conference play.

-DeSales improved to 16-15 and 8-8, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales opened the scoring with three unearned runs in the top of the first.

-The Bulldogs added a fourth run in the third.

-Eric Shandler got the Knights on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a bases-loaded single that scored Cam Seymour.

-Anthony Bruno finished the scoring for Arcadia in the bottom of the eighth with a solo home run.
