ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Arcadia University baseball team wrapped up Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play with a split at Lebanon Valley, taking game two 12-2 after falling 17-13 in game one.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights finished MAC Freedom play 14-7 and moved to 24-14 overall.
-Lebanon Valley stands at 13-8 in conference and 21-18-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 2: ARCADIA 12, LEBANON VALLEY 2 (F/8)
-Lebanon Valley hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first.
-Arcadia jumped in front with three runs in the top of the third on back-to-back homers
Max Oswald and
Anthony Bruno.
-In the bottom of the fourth,
Eric Shandler knocked a two-run double to left followed by an RBI single from
Griffin Murphy.
-The Knights added two runs in the fifth, three in the sixth, and one in the eighth to finish the scoring.
-
Gabe Marshall earned the win with three innings of relief, allowing one run on one hit with one walk and three strikeouts.

-Lebanon Valley jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
-Seymour launched a solo homer in the top of the second.
-After the Dutchmen added a fifth run, Seymour hit a three-run home run in the top of the third to cut the deficit to 5-4.
-Arcadia tied the score at seven in the top of the fifth.Â
-Lebanon Valley crossed the plate 10 times in the bottom of the fifth.
-The Knights crossed the plate six times in the top of the seventh but were unable to tie the score.
