Men's Lacrosse Clinches Home Playoff Game With Win Over DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team defeated Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opponent DeSales University 12-10 on Saturday afternoon to clinch a home playoff game for the first round of the MAC Freedom playoffs.
 
Dylan Garber had five goals in this contest.
 
FOR THE RECORD
- Arcadia improved to 12-5, 6-1 (MAC). 

- DeSales fell to 8-9, 5-2 (MAC).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- DeSales opened the scoring of the game with a quick goal only 49 seconds in. 

- Less then a minute later, Dylan Garber put the Knights on the board. 

- Arcadia went on to score six unanswered goals from Garber, Nick Mormando, Andrew Borum, Sean Perkinson, and Reilly Robichaud (2) to close out the first quarter. 

- 50 seconds into the second quarter, Garber extended Arcadia's lead. 

- The Knights put up two more goals to the Bulldogs one going into halftime.

- In the last two quarters, DeSales mounted a comeback, outscoring the Knights 8-2, however they fell short. 

A.J. Dominguez went 17-24 in faceoffs.

Nathaniel Hudgins improved to 9-3 with 13 saves and one assist on the day.
