READING, Pa. - The Arcadia University softball team wrapped up its 2025 season on Wednesday afternoon, splitting its non-conference doubleheader at Albright by winning game two 8-3 after dropping game one 4-1.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights completed 2025 with a 13-23 record.
-Albright stands at 4-32.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME TWO: ARCADIA 8, ALBRIGHT 3
-Albright opened the scoring in the bottom of the third with a two-run double.
-The Knights tied the score in the top of the fifth on RBI's from
Kyleigh Mihalik and
Mac Champion.
-After Albright retook the lead in the fifth, Arcadia crossed the plate six times in the seventh as
Nathalia DiIanni,
Taylor Sommer,
Stephanie Binek, Mihalik, and
Abby Jones helped bring runs in.
-
Mac Champion earned the win in relief, allowing one run in three innings on two hits with two strikeouts.
